Meet The Owner: François Vernus aka FAFA
Can you give us a brief history of your store?
Pascal and I are the two managers of BMX Avenue. Pascal is the creator of the shop back in 2007. I joined him in the adventure a few years later and we moved to Montpellier. The shop was just online at the beginning and the store was created later. We always push the local scene and the crew is strong!
What type of riders are part of your community and what makes your community so special?
Montpellier is cool for BMX riding because there are a lot of students here and there’s always new guys on board! We love street, park and trail, it’s very important for us to respect all kinds of riding and styles. But we're more into street riding, hahaha! Now we have a lot of pump tracks around and it’s sick to see old riders back in the game. And a big skate park is coming soon in Montpellier. That’s something really big and we are stoked!

"The street scene in Montpellier is like a big family, chill and friendly. We enjoy riding together, filming for some little projects or just enjoying the sun! When the local spots become boring, from riding the same ones every day, we like to move to the nearby towns for an afternoon to search for some new ones!"-BMX Avenue
